Lights Camera Cure (LCC) is a Los Angeles-based charitable organization whose mission is to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer patient support and research through community based fundraising and service activities.
LCC's primary fundraiser is the annual Hollywood Dance Marathon. The organization is also expanding with other fundraising events and activities throughout the year in the Los Angeles area.
The Hollywood Dance Marathon is a high-energy dance party charity event featuring participants that sign up to dance and raise money from family and friends. In its first five years, the event has donated over $420,000 to help kids with cancer. The 5th annual Hollywood Dance Marathon was held on April 2, 2016 with proceeds benefitting Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA and the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
The Hollywood Dance Marathon is produced by Lights Camera Cure and the Penn State Los Angeles Alumni Chapter. Lights Camera Cure is a California non-profit corporation, and is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. Tax ID # 46-3005523. The corporation was founded in May 2013 and is currently an all-volunteer organization.
